THE RULES OF

ACTIONLOOP

Like all the greatest games, Actionloop is very easy to play but difficult to master. The game is played entirely with the Nintendo DS touch screen and stylus so that you can effectively play with just one hand.

The action takes place on an inwardly looping track, along which differently-coloured Gemstones roll slowly towards a hole in the centre. You must stop the Gemstones falling down the hole by clearing them from the track as quickly as possible.

To do so, you simply flick Gemstones from a Launch pad in the middle of the screen using the DS stylus. If three or more of the same coloured Gemstones touch each other, they disappear.

You need fast reflexes and precise stylus-flicking motions to succeed at Actionloop but you also need to employ strategy, too. Gemstones of the same colour are magnetically attracted to each other, so with a little planning you can create huge chain reactions and build up massive scores.

If similarly coloured Gemstones are on either side of a group of Gemstones, they will join together when you clear the group in the middle.

If three or more similarly coloured Gemstones are drawn together, they will form a chain and disappear.

Chains will give you bonus points. Creating long chains is the secret to getting a high score.
