THE BASICS OF

BRAIN TRAINING

Can you spare a few minutes to keep your brain young? Because a few minutes every day is all it takes to train your brain in the all-new ‘More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old is Your Brain?’ for the Nintendo DS handheld system. Like its predecessor ‘Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training’, ‘More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old is Your Brain?’ is designed to be played for just a few minutes each day - say on a coffee break or while travelling to work.

You’ll perform simple – yet challenging – exercises. You won’t press any buttons to give your answer. You simply write your answers on the DS Touch Screen or speak your answers into the built-in microphone. Based on the speed and accuracy with which these exercises are performed, you are given a score in the form of a ‘DS Brain Age’. A built-in calendar keeps track of your daily progress so you can see how well you’re keeping your brain in shape over time.

At this website you will find information about all the new exercises featured in ‘More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?’, but also about the brain behind the concept: Dr. Ryuta Kawashima.

You can use the menu on the left to find out more about all these topics, and more. Take a few minutes out of your day - your brain will thank you for the workout!
