The Big Brain Academy fosters an environment of both camaraderie and competitiveness. Students who study together can reap the rewards of each other’s knowledge. However, there are times when you have to show your classmates that you’re just smarter than they are. |

Mind Sprint Want to race to the head of the class? The Mind Sprint is the fastest way to show mental superiority over your classmates. Dr. Lobe facilitates this competition between two people or two teams by preparing a set number of questions. The faster you answer questions, the quicker you move toward the finish. If you get a wrong answer, though, you’re stopped in your tracks and penalised time for your misstep.
For team challenges, one player from each team will start the Mind Sprint, and Dr. Lobe will then call on the next student to answer. When he shows the Mii of the next player whose turn it is to answer a question, the current holder of the Wii Remote simply passes the Remote to his or her team-mate.
If you don’t want to sprint against another player, you or you and your friends can compete against a Student record, with the computer charting that student’s results against yours based on his past performance. |

Mental Marathon Anyone can be brilliant for a moment. Some people can also get lucky. However, those who can sustain success over a period of time are the ones who let their Big Brains show.
A solo player or a team of up to eight players must keep a streak of correct answers going for as long as possible during a set amount of time. Dr. Lobe will present challenges from all 15 activities to try to stump the players. The marathon ends when someone gives a wrong answer or time runs out. When playing as a team, Dr. Lobe will indicate which person should handle the remote. However, discussion and help from your team-mates will be needed for your team to achieve greatness. |

Brain Quiz Take part in some extra-curricular activities with Brain Quiz! Brain Quiz is the ultimate Big Brain party game where up to eight players can split into up to four teams and put their metal mettle to the test. Not only does Brain Quiz include all 15 main activities, it features five extra ones! One player chooses a panel from the Brain Quiz board. The player can see the activity but doesn’t know the difficulty. The player then answers questions until he or she gets one wrong or time runs out. The player then hands off the Wii Remote to the next player shown on-screen. When all the panels are chosen, the team with the most points wins! |
